About meDear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new semester at North Valleys High School! My name is Gilbert Lenz and I am the Agricultural Mechanics Technology Teacher at the Center for Agriculture Science and Engineering (CASE). I grew up on a ranch near Doyle, California joined the Nevada National Guard after high school and in the last seventeen years of service I have spent more then five active and completed a combat tour in Afghanistan. I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of the Arts in Educational Leadership degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno. I started teaching in 2008. Agricultural Mechanics Technology is an extremely rigorous class. Students will be expected to work on academic assignments and complete work, safely in the shop in a proactive way. If there is no assigned homework in my class, your son or daughter can always become better informed by studying relevant websites or watching educational videos on the internet. Please check Infinite Campus weekly in order to ensure that your child is not missing any assignments. If they are missing assignments please email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to email instructions for them to make up the assignment. Please do your best to stay involved this year. We can always use parent volunteers for our many FFA events throughout the year. Respecfully, Gilbert Lenz |
